Is Blackjack Online Gambling Really Worth It?

Gambling
The moment we hear about gambling, a picture of people betting over outcomes of some event, huge amounts of money being gained or lost, and people’s respective reactions come directly to our minds. Any act of betting money or something of value over an event that doesn’t have a fixed or calculated outcome with the intent of winning more money or value is termed as Gambling.
Is Online Gambling Legal in India?
Online gambling in India isn’t considered illegal since the Public Gambling Act of 1867 highlighted restrictions over gambling in public places. There was no mention of online platforms, which were a hard thought. Thus utilizing this loophole and the dawn of technology, blackjack online gambling platforms came into the picture.
Are there any pros to it?
It brings a tremendous amount of excitement, heart beating faster or the feeling of being high just like drugs to an addict which is why a person trying out gambling is highly likely to get addicted to it. It develops the feeling of risk and thrill in the mind as every other second brings the chance to win or lose. The mixed feeling of fear and nervousness takes over.
Cons of Online Gambling
On the contrary to these factors that might seem as pros to try out a new activity, they also have a huge list of cons. Being an addictive activity similar to that of alcohol consumption or weed, they endanger an individual’s financial and mental well-being. There is an increased amount of stress due to adrenaline while and after the gambling game takes place which might turn to depression in cases of huge losses. Addicts can bet anything to win more; often rendering them broke enough to be unable to feed their own families or deliver outbursts on their close ones and cause them to harm themselves.
With the onset of Online Gambling, it has become easier to do it sitting at home rather than visiting casinos to evade from the law. The uncontrollable urge to put more and more on stake and the rush it brings along with the release of high dopamine levels is enough to blind anyone with some sanity. Many rich upper-class people participate in these activities knowing that they’d have enough even if they lose and do it as a leisurely activity. In contrast, other people idealize them and destroy their own lives.
Is it worth it?
As per my personal opinion, there are many better ways to make money than lying pathetically on the couch and gambling on your smart phones. One should value hard work more because life is way more than a game of chances.
